My Year in Picture (Great Idea Kurt!)

I was thinking about putting some narrative and pictures together last week...I did it last year and really enjoyed it! After viewing CruiserOutfitters pictures; I was motivated to get it done! So, here you go...

The year of exploration started out with me (weather freak) watching the weather. In February, we made our escape!





Zion in February! Very nice. It was a nice break from the slopes of PC.





In mid March, we ran down to the Swell. The San Rafael Swell is just a nice spot to feel the warmth of the spring sun and play in the slots.









In Late March, we rallied down to the Moab area. An outstanding area!





Off to Capital Reef in mid April!

There is so much to explore off the Burr Trail.





In May, I took off with an old friend to do some riding. So much fun...Check out Good Water Rim! You can thank me later...





I was fortunate enough to get away with my good friend Shane. We were all over...Dark Canyon, Cedar Mesa, Lake Powell...it was nice!









In June, it was time to head north, Jackson! The Tetons!





Summer was only starting...

Oh Colorado! We spent two weeks camping, hiking, fishing, and enjoying the great Rocky Mountains. We only had 2 hours of rain!!! It was crazy nice!









July brought Great Basin National Park. Awesome! Lilly got her junior ranger badge!

In August...We were off to the North Rim and Escalante!








Off to the Swell again in September to see some mining relics...



October brought a trip with our good friend Dave!



November, brought the annual Daddy, Daughter trip! What a gas...




I hope you all have a healthy, fun 2014! Get out there...There is much to see and do. Can't wait to see what 2014 will bring!

Base Camp...you nailed it...It's 4-5 hours to many great spots...Tetons, Desert, Idaho, Colorado...Yeah, always think of it as a great Base Camp.
