need help M416 tounge u bolt question

Im in the process of putting my M416 back together and im having troub,e finding the correct u bolts for the tounge? 2" wide but whats the correct diameter? 1/2 doesnt fit that is all i can seem to find? any suggestions?

Good luck on finding them, I never could and that was about a year ago. I still had the old ones and I finally just had some new ones made. I had 2 pair made in case I ever need another set. I cannot remember how much I paid but I am pretty sure I ordered them from here:

It may be easier to have a set built, than to source a set made for it.

Are there any trailer or spring shops near you?

They can usually build any style/size of U-bolt you might need.
