need help with eezi-awn measurements

I am in the process of designing and building the platform for the bed of my 06 tacoma and I need actual dimensions for eezi-awn tents. If you have a 1400 or 1600 please take a second and put a tape to it and let me know;

the actual overall dimensions with cover (these are listed on the internet, but people say to add 2-3" for bulging)

the distance between the mounting rails on the underside (front to back and side to side)

Thank you very much

Give ma a call in the shop tomorrow at 909-985-7799 (9-5 PST) and I will give you the exact measurements as we have 1400, 1600, 1800 & 2200 in stock and mounted on various trailers.

Thanks, Mario, for the assistance. Here it is for the rest of ya.

1600- actual overall dimensions 49" x 64"
extruded rail to rail 40 3/8" x 54 7/8"

1400- actual overall dimensions 49" x 58"
extruded rail to rail 40 3/8" x 47"

Do not forget that the mounting rails are not all centered on the base.

Really? Not centered on the base? Are the extruded rails at least uniformly not centered- not centered, but the same on all tents- or are they not centered randomly from tent to tent?

The width mounted rails are not centered to support the weight once folded over. I will try and find the spec sheet and post it up.

The rails are consistently placed, tent size to tent size. They are centered on the width of the tent but not on the length. Moving the mounting extrusion to a more desirable location should you find the factory position not working for you is easy. We do this for all tents that we mount on our Horizon trailers. Large head rivits hold the mounting extrusion in place. We move the extrusion inboard 8", drill new holes and remount with the same type rivits and backing washers. Where the mounting extrusion was previously, we place a same length 1"x1" x 1/8" aluminum tube and rivit into place through the factory original holes in the base. This is important as the side we move the extrusion on is right at the hinge and it needs to maintain a certain rigidity for the extrusions at the hinge to mate properly.

Sorry if I may have made this sound complicated...really it takes us a half hour to do it in the shop. No biggee. That's the nice thing about the EeziAwn, it's easy to work with when it comes to mounting options.

Call me again if you need more clarification.
