Need M416 Brake idea please

Guys, I just had a springover done and of course, the brake cable is just a tad too short to reach the brake "hook" bar....or "J hook" Can anyone recommend a longer "J hook" to get and where...I can't imagine who would have such an item and what purpose it would serve....so I'm not sure where to look..... Would Home Depot have such an item??

Get a hold of MEP1811 we did his s/o and I can't remember what we did for his "J" hook.
On mine I lowered the cable with a 1 in block under the frame where the cable guides are now. That lowered it enough to be able to use the brake.
