I have a '42 willys that needs new warn hubs. It has some lame selectro hubs that are fom the eighties. My front end is from some form of jeep or wagoneer but I have no clue. Can anyone provide some way to identify so I get the right hubs?

Thanks,

Brad

Well, first, this belongs in the Domestic section, or, maybe the Jeep section? Would probably get more response there.

Second, only thing I can offer, would be to identify your front axle, and the outter spline count.... Whethers its an AMC, Dana, etc...

Good luck...

Most Jeeps can be broken down in to the 5- or 6-bolt hub, not the wheel lugs, but those that retain the hub. For the FSJ D44 axles, some were equipped with drive flanges under a removable pop-off cover.

Thanks I'll check it out. My selectro hubs must need work. My wheels are sprayed with gear oil and they are really loose. Not to mention they no longer turn. I think I'll pull them and inspect.
