need noob explanation how to mount RTT to factory rails

Hi guys, I just bought an older Columbus RTT off craigslist. From what I can tell from their website, the newer models have the attachment points towards the outside of the unit and they mount with U bolts. Mine has 2 channels near the middle of the base with sliding bolt studs sticking out. I assume I need to make/buy 4 flat pieces of steel with holes on either end to bolt it down.
The part I'm not sure on is the specifics with my roof rails. I have a 4th gen 4runner with factory side rails and cross bars. I know I need to buy aftermarket cross bars, and I've seen some yakima/thule ones on craigslist, but I don't know what specific clamp/mount I need to bolt onto my factory side rails. Their websites aren't much help. Anyone know?

Thanks!

I wrote (emailed) direct to Thule and told them the details and they wrote back with the specific way to get racks to fit my 95 4Runner and a RTT. Try that perhaps?

Installation is simple

Buy a sport rack - Get a good one with a 165 Lb rating, Thule and Yakima are the standards

Call AutoHome and buy a set of "U" bolts and sliders. Yes, you can make a set but they aren't expensive and the ones from AutoHome have been crash tested.

Oh, and all the Columbus have the same installation system, going back 30 years or so.
