Hello there, I have the chance to buy a Three Forks (a Gander Mountain line they are not oging to carry any more because all of their products, guns, clothes etc are too expensive) 10' x 10' duck canvas tent which normally sells for $300+ and I can buy it brand new for $180 which is a deal on top of the clearance price that the manager is going to give me...I just have to give him an answer by 4:00pm est...I was going to get something a tad bigger just to have room, but it's only for my and my gf and dog...so i think it will be big enough.

I just wanted to ask because what little bit I have been able to read about the camping threads you guys have on here since I have been on here canvas seems to be pretty popular...so please let me know some opinions so I can try and make a good decision...thanks for the help and opinions in advance...

:REOutCampFire03: I imagine the harsh weather campers, use canvas, because it's stronger, usually flame resistant and protects better in REALLY BAD WEATHER

I'll never own another one, heavy, stink, etc

The new polyester/nylon/PVC are all light/compressable and come with little repair kits, if you get caught in the rain they all come with a quick RAIN FLY
