Hey guys

Maybe someone here has a contract for a transporter that is affordable and reliable? I bought myself another 60's Econoline and need to find her a ride home.

The seller is really helpful and can take her to a couple other locations as well; Los Angeles CA or North Dakota but the easiest would be from Kansas city.

Cheers

Uship.com might be helpful. Shippers compete for your job by bidding on it. You choose the best one based on price and feedback scores.

That's my first step, Uship. Got quotes all over the map and hopefully those in the lower end of the $pectrum are still good people.

Thanks again

Yeah, I was frustrated by it last time I used it to get a boat shipped. Problem is professional shippers trying to get reasonable pro rates for your job, when what I was asking for was a cheap job from someone already making that trip. That's the point of the website but some people are using it the wrong way IMO. If you can be patient you'll get a good deal.

What I've noticed so far is that brokers contact you to try to line up a good deal for you. But they want a deposit and who knows if they'll get you what you need for the price you want. It's nearly impossible to get them to commit to a set price as they can't do it until they line up someone willing to do the trip. Yup, frustrating.
