We just returned from a 1900 mile, 10 day cruise of the mountains in SE Oregon and N. Nevada.

Sorry, it's taken almost as long as the ride to post or else I'd put it here too.
No flats, never ran out of fuel, one big crash (no serious injuries), one broken Bell Moto 8 helmet (the bike wasn't even running), wild life galore, hundreds of water crossings and more flowers than we've seen in years.
On day 7 of this ride in Nevada, we bumped into a couple righteous Toyota rigs from this site. Jack was one fellas' name and he pointed to a line on my map that we would never have found without his beta. "Do yourself a favor and ride this 20 mile piece of ridge top 2 track". That was going through our heads as we found the line and explored most of the dead end 'cherry stems' along the way just to be thorough. Thanks very much for that!
I've been riding out there for the last 18 years and this was the best trip yet!
