OK, my first post was meant as a joke. BMW wouldn't be dumb enough to build a inline-4 based adventure bike.

Saw it at the International Motorcycle Show yesterday in Long Beach. It's not a true Adventure bike in that it has very, very limited off road capabilities. But it's definitely going to be a challenge to the Multistrada. Notably, it has chain drive and a cable clutch. :Wow1:

What YetiX said. It's in no way an adventure bike. Simply meant to go head to head with the Ducati MS.
