Highly regarded iPhone camera app VSCO Cam is first out of the gate with support for iOS 8's new camera features. The new iOS 8 gives the app manual control over focus, exposure compensation, white balance, ISO and shutter speed.

The VSCO Cam app is free. VSCO sells sets of filters and special effects to manipulate your images, but you don't have to use them.

In time, other camera app makers will take advantage of iOS 8's new features.
