New FJ80 owner

HI all, I have been looking for a new toy for a couple of months, mostly jeeps, have been looking at land cruisers as well, and proud to say that I bought my first cruiser, 1991 fj80 200k on it, 6" of lift with 35' bighorns, it came with a prerunner style bar on the front, which doesn't look to bad, needs some tlc. Cant wait to start modding it to fit my style. Love the forums here, learning a lot from everyones post, I will have to post some pics, and get everyones opinions.

Congratulations! The '91 FJ80 I had is still one of my favorite Cruisers ever. Comfortable and rock-solid reliable for 300,000 miles.

Congrats! I bought the same year 80 and I really love it. It's not the fastest truck on the road but I've adopted the motto, "Drive as slow as possible, but as fast as necessary" ...and my 80 makes sure I never drive very fast, ever!

Speed is overrated. Slow down and enjoy the drive, I say. If you just have to go fast, get a crotch rocket.
