I've been a fan of Expedition Portal for years and have always been excited to read about everyone's rigs and great adventures. We are in the process of building out a new FWC Grandby and are excited to have some adventures of our own. I would love to get any suggestions for recommended add on items that you've found handy. We will be using this rig for onsite photo shoots for work events, surfing, paddleboarding, hiking, and all around adventuring!
Here is what we have in the works so far:
2015 Chevy 2500 HD (should be delivered in a week or so..yep bought the camper before the truck
)
Four Wheel Camper Grandby self contained
Customized service bed will replace standard truck bed for added storage
Customize bumper with storage boxes, flip down steps and a spot to anchor a cooler
MaxTrax storage in small space between service bed and camper
Looking forward to sharing pictures of this rig coming together over the next few weeks.
