Cool man. So all you did was a torsion crank for the front and shackles on the rear? How is that working out for you? How much did you lift the front and what size shackles for the rear?

I like the procomp bar.

And welcome to ExPo!

thanks man. got around 1.5-2 inches with the torsion bars and 1.5 with the shackles. not much but perfect to fit the 265/70's. can't wait to get the drawers done this weekend! got my old man workin on that. he's been in the exhibit building business for 32+ yrs. so they're gonna be sweet!

Good deal. The AC and SLR shackles actually give a full 2" of lift over stock. Also, the powdercoating won't flake off after 2 months.

I did a PML (Poor-man's-lift, shackles & t-bar crank) on an Xterra a couple weeks ago, using SLR shackles, and he ended up about 2.5" over stock overall. I just cranked the t-bars until the rockers were parallel with the garage floor. Heh.

That's one thing I really like about the Xterras, is the ability to get 2" of lift for under $100 in under an hour.:jumping:

Welcome aboard.:luxhello:

lookin good glowingreen. thats roughly what mines gonna look like, but only about 8" tall. my old mans been tinkerin' with it for about 3 wks now. i'm not using carpet though. he's got 4 coats of matte black paint and 3 coats of matte poly on top of that. then we're gonna put some aluminum slats on top. kinda like an old school truck bed. i just built the portable bar/cooking table on sunday. then we're taking it on its maiden camping voyage on memorial day wknd. can't wait!!!!

i hear ya vengeful. imports are way easy to lift and lower. i've had a couple of mazda lowriders back in the day. and lifting the X was just as easy as lowering the mazdas! my t-bars are cranked about as far as can be. so realistically i think i got like 2ish in the front. sitspretty level maybe just hair taller in front. yea prerunner style!!!

welcome to expo - that's a nice looking X. Post some pics of the drawer system when you get it finished up.
