I have not posted many projects on here lately so I figured I would post this one up. It is Chris's van known as 18seeds on the portal.
The van started life as 15 pass window van 7.3 quigly conversion. I had a used top here at the house we were able to clean up ,repaint and use to save some money.

I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to join up... DSW, what kind of material are you using for the headliner, and where can I get it? I was thinking of using inside my PUP, instead of removing/refinishing the 30 yr old wood....

I use flexform needle punch, the only place I know of to get it is from my supplier it is not cheap, 15 a yard if I remember right. (a yard is 60 inches by one yard) You can by a similar product in black/grey from wallmart it is called ozite. Still not cheap and they only sell small sections of it like 3ft by 5 ft or something like that. I can get flexform in a lot of different colors if your interested in it let me know.
RockKrawler, thanks My seamstress suprised me with putting my logo on the front window which turned out pretty cool because this was the first one I embeded the logo in the head liner so it all came together nicely.

That "old" top looks brand new after the paint.

What's the width of the fiberglass top where it meets the van's roof? I haven't been able to find the info online and don't have a full-size van handy to measure.

I'll let you know, I ordered some samples from an auto carpet supply in Mass and the quality left a lot to be desired... I'll check out the stuff at Wal mart, but I would need something areound 6 1/2 feet for the bunk walls.

On another note, http://www.bearcreekcanvas.com/ will make custom canvas from your patterns in a few different colors, I read in another thread you were looking for something heavier. They will pretty much make anything, and were more than happy to entertain me when I was toying with the idea of removing a bunkend from my popup and have them make a custom "wall" for me.

Keep up the good work, I'll be following yor build.
