New shoes for the trailer

Brake shoes that is, We finally installed the 12 inch brakes and electric brake controller this weekend and they work great. I also upgraded the Cherokee's alternator to a Cs-144 and pretty much doubled the amp's to 150.

I don't mean to hijack:
I really want to put trailer brakes on my new trailer setup. My trailer axle has Jeep 5 on 5 hubs. What does it take to mount brakes? The hubs look like they have a backing plate used for drum brakes. What did your entire brake kit cost if you don't mind me asking. Thanks for the help.
