New Springs on order....!

So, I went to get my '03 Monty inspected today and turns out the left rear spring is broken up in the spring perch area. DOH! .... fail....

but wait, for the cost of factory REAR springs and REAR shocks, I can get new HD OME Springs and Shocks/Struts for all four corners... :wings:

not that I was expecting it, but nice reason to upgrade for sure.

purchased via Sierra Expeditions and as noted by so many before me, great dealing with these folks. Look forward to the brown truck showing up at my door!

now I've got the springs on order, need to consider the justification for new tires... turns out, my alignment in the rear has been unadjustable because the cams have been frozen. two shops said the same thing.

so, have read in a couple of forums that 285/75 16s should fit on factory rims and with the OME lift.

Anyone have experience with this setup and what tires they may recommend?

285/75/16s will fit just fine. I ran a set of ProComp Xterrains for 40K and couldnt complain a bit about em. You will notice a decrease in mileage and power slightly but nothing major.
