Trophey Truck

I wanted to introduce myself…I am now Expedition ready. Looking for other people to go on trips with… I have 4Wheeled for many years and wanted to change things up a little… I have turned full circle from past years of owning full size vehicles to really moded lifted, locked, geared - Jeeps, 4Runners and now back to my current new to me 06' Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 quad cab short bed. I purchased this truck a year ago and made only minor mods to it because it houses a Hallmark UTE XS slide in pop up truck camper and wanted to keep the center of gravity low. (very hard to resist installing a lift kit as I have done numerous times in the past). The simple mods on the truck I did myself during the last year in preparation for a 2,000 lb load in the bed... Smarty Jr. programmer, CFM intake plenum, intake heater deleted, Luke link bushings in the trac bar, new 08' complete steering kit from Dodge, BD steering brace, additional steering dampner on the upper drag link to frame, Hellwig sway bar in rear, homemade grill guard with lights, Dynatrac free spin kit (lock out hubs with inner and outer wheel bearings), Rancho adj shocks, rear air bags custom located outside the frame, stable loads, extra fuel tanks, CB/Ham, rear seat storage for tools and dog, Michelin LTX AT 2's - load range E, Reese Tow beast 2.5” receiver hole 18,000 lb class 5 hitch for my 34” extended hitch (to clear rear of extended camper) for 7x16 enclosed trailer, and of course all the tools specific for the truck – come along, jacks, straps, fix flat kits, shovel, chains, snow chains, Volt meter, fuses, bolts, spare fuel and oil filters and on and on. The camper is a fully self contained unit -floor length of 102”, 83” wide, roof down height 66”, roof up height 90”, weight with standard features 1840 with wet bath, outside shower, 30 gallon water tank, 17 grey and 16 black, solar with (2) golf cart batteries, rear flood lamps, roof storage, 3 burner stove, 16k BTU propane heater, 30 lb propane tank, and more fuel storage and so on…
