I thought I would introduce myself and my new to me fj80. I joined awhile back and have been doing some reading on the forum. I am interested in expedition type wheeling and camping but up until recently I didn't have a dedicated rig for it. Two weeks ago I purchased a 91 FJ80 I plan to modify for my use. I purchased it from the original owner with just 131K showing on the odometer and is in pretty good shape. As time and money allow I will be building up in stages. First will be maintenance and making sure it is reliable. Second stage will consist of light modifications such as lift and tires (33 or 35). Then will come bumpers and roof rack etc.
