New Torflex or Spacer??

Hey all,

Recently got a new Casita and it has the 10 degree up axel. To bring it level with my rig I need roughly a 3 inch lift. So the question is

1) New 22 degree down torflex for about $420 shipped. I would have to swap the breaks, bearings etc.

2) Or local trailer fab shop to put in a 3" spacer lift. Basically weld in a 2 x 3 piece of tube steel and gusset it for lateral load. This will cost me $400 and only take two days.

Which is better????

Seems like a new axle is only $20 more, and just a better way to go. The 22 degree down axle should ride better anyway, since the 10 degree up axle has negative kinematic recession (which is bad). The spacer is a little bit hokey. And the new axle is a nice new axle. Sounds like a no brainer to me.
