Newbie FJ 43, 45 Purchase

Both are rare. Both are awesome. Both will get down most trails.
I'd take a troopy since I have a family.
I'd take a 43 because its a 43
Both are equally rare and will resell well. I'd love the info for the one you don't buy.
I'd pick the most original, complete one with the least amount of rust. That said:
Do you have a favorite?
What years are they?
Are they both titled in the USA?
Mileage is less concern to than proper maintenance.
How do they drive?
If you are looking to wheel it and hit tougher trails and lift and lock it, the 43 wheel base will prove better off road on tight trails. If you want to drive to Alaska hitting fire roads and dirt roads, I'd be all over the space of a 45

Hi all,
All depends upon what you plan to do with the truck. If you are just driving around town, cruising the mall either will be cool.
If you plan on any amount of highway driving the extra power of the 2F over the 3B will be appreciated, though flipside the better fuel economy of the 3B will be noticed over that of the 2F!
Be sure to post up pics of whichever one you buy!

I've owned two 3B powered Land Cruisers. They aren't exactly quick, but they run on the smell of an oily rag. Unless you need the space of the 45, I'd go for the 43. That of course hoes out the window if one is beat or one is mint, or one is half the cost of the other or, or, or. You really can't go wrong.
