NL Dual Battery Controller mounting

I am sure I am just missing something simply, but the National Luna Dual Battery controller appears to have a mounting plate on it that one would use to mount the controller in the cab. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to separate the mounting plate from the controller, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It has little posts that click into the back of the actual control head. Slide the back mounting plate ~ 1/4" and it should pop off.

I will give it a shot, that's what I was thinking from looking at it but it didn't seem to want to move. Thanks Kurt.
