NM to Alaska 2011

Its On!

I left NM on May 13th made it to Eagle River AK on 5/31
Stayed with friends on the way here in Colorado & Calgary Canada.
4237 miles so far.
Thanks to Colby Jacks for letting me store my M416 at his house while in the Anchorage area doing the site seeing thing.
My daughters arrive June 2nd to finish the rest of this trip.
We are heading to the Denali Highway to camp then head out of Alaska towards Chicken & Dawson City,Whitehorse, down the Stewart Cassiar Highway 37 to Prince George then work our way to Spokane WA, from there to Moab Canyon Land area, then on home back to NM.
So far its been an awesome trip

Your timing on the Denali Highway is going to be perfect. Don't be afraid to take the paths headed off into the mountains, some go no where but others are awesome trails.

So far I've put close to 8k miles on this trip, right now I'm in Spokane WA
Its been an awesome trip, great scenery fun time.

From Spokane I think we will stay mostly highway to get home. I've been gone over a month. Heard it was 105 at home yesterday, I'm not looking forward to the heat though.

just completed our trip of 9200 miles. great experience with my 02 tacoma with flip pac. I would urge all to consider this great experience. go to the off beat and less traveled. stuck in mud, blasted windshield, winched out folks in yukon. great wildlife and many new friends.

I never finished putting up the rest of my pictures.
My trip was 80 miles short of 10k miles.
39 days - 8 States - 4 Provinces - 1 slow leak in tire - 4 new rock chips in windshield - 8 friends visited on the way - 4 family members visited on the way - Memories for a lifetime.

Once I left Spokane WA heading home it was a mad dash to get back.
Spent fathers day on the road with my daughters, who took me to dinner at Casa Bonita of South Park fame. That was fun.
