Good looking little truck. I hope Mitsubishi does not just do a lot of rebadging. On some platforms it doesn't matter much but a lot of their cars and trucks are so well engineered and built it would be ashame to let that history and reputation for quality just fade away.

I am wondering why not importing L200?

Too expensive to crash test and smog it when Nissan already did that for their trucks.

It sounds like the next gen Frontier/Navara and L200 will all be designed around the same chassis right from the start.

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
What will be great is Mitsubishi will do something stupid again and try to trick their customers into a NON Mitsubishi truck like the Raider pickup and it will bomb hard. THEN Fiat/RAM will roll out the Fiat Fullback maybe branded as a Ram 1000 or something, It'll get fantastic reviews and people will be amazed that Fiat/RAM could crank out such a quality machine. They'll sell a ton of them and we can all buy them and badge them back to Triton L200. It'll be great, I can't wait to show up to MOD in a REAL Mitsubishi pickup and Mitsubishi North America can wallow in their poor marketing skills.

The yellow and black one makes me think Bumblebee (from Transformers) went to Australia, got blackout drunk, and woke up to find out he'd been overhauled by the locals.

They sell it as the Ram 1200 in the middle east.

I saw a Fiat fullback a few months back and had to do a double take! If you get that in the states you can rest assured that it has the full mitsubishi running gear on it and you're in pretty safe hands

I doubt we'll ever see it as a Fiat-Chrysler product. Jeep is currently testing prototypes of a Wrangler based pickup. That's where FCA will make their money in that segment. I just don't see a mid sized pickup fitting into the US Ram product line.
