I'm finishing up my drawer/fridge setup in the back of my 2000 Land Cruiser and normally I've hard wired a 12v line to the back of the truck to power my fridge like in my previous FZJ80, but in this truck, there is a dedicated 12V outlet already there from the factory. My question is, would it be sufficient for use with my Norcold? It has a warning of not to exceed 120W. My norcold draws 4-5Amps max, so at 12V that would equate to 60W. The other question I have is the Norcold 12V plug is meant to be hardwired, but I can easily add a cig plug on there. Would that be ok or should I hardwire it in like what Norcold recommends?
