Not an expo trailer question, but still a trailer question

I was wondering how difficult it is to convert a trailer that has no brakes to electric brakes? Due to some changes in my life we will possibly be getting rid of the Commander in the next few months, so the Wrangler may be doing towing duty. It is a single axle trailer built in 2004. Total wieght for the trailer, it's load, and gear is about 2700 lbs. The Jeep is rated for 3500 lbs, but it just doesn't stop too well with the trailer.

Generally speaking...pretty easy. Find out what axle (specifically) you have, and check for a brake backing plate mounting flange. If it has one, brakes will likely bolt on and wire up in a few hours. Then install a brake control in the Jeep, upgrade the truck and trailer plugs, and you are good to go.

Cool, the Jeep already has a 7-way plug. I have been using a 7-way to 4-way adapter. No brake contoller yet. Last time i did the hub and bearings on the trailer it did look like there was a square 4-bolt flange on the axle.
