Nuvi directions...

So yesterday while driving East my friend and I wanted to slow down and relax for a few miles and take a scenic rout. Clay had a brand spanking new Garmin Nuvi, and when we exited the interstate, it said that if we continued down the road on the other side of the canyon, in 6mi we would return to the HW. Perfect! Having now completed this 6mi, and owning a very capable Toyota Tacoma, I would still call it perfect, but any normal vehicle would have been in a world of hurt. I don't have pictures of it, but we saw a roughly 300lb black bear on the road in front of us, it was awesome.

And then then camera battery died, but thats ok, the good stuff was still captured. :sombrero:

Question for Toyota (or other owners as well). When ever I get my alternator wet, which until get an electric fan with an on/off is pretty much every time I cross deep water, my battery light comes on. Is this normal, and is there anything I can do about it?

While I can't answer your question (no snorkel = avoid deep water) I feel I must comment. Nice pics! Nice road! I may need to get a Nuvi. The best my Magellan does is try to make me drive though golf courses, (Look! it shows the road goes straight through here! But Dear, we can't go through there, we're not in a golf cart!)
