Obtained a donor camper, which parts will I regret not removing from it?

Hi All,

Sorry to bombard this forum, but you guys are smart so deal with it :).

I recently obtained a donor style camper (not a pop-up), with the intentions of using its jacks on my pop up. I ended up buying new jacks rendering this one unnecessary. It is in very nice condition on the inside, however it had some light roof water entry and so I don't feel comfortable selling it whole.

Main question: I know down the line, I'll be tinkering with my pop up camper and reflect that "oh ya, I had access to this part from the other camper". What do you find are key things to remove from these campers and which parts are considerably valuable for resale? I stay keenly aware of the principle of opportunity cost, so I will not embark on removing every little bolt, however will definitely remove things which exceed X threshold in value. Haven't declared x yet.

I already have some ideas for window mods in my camper. There is a very large side window which I'd like to install in my camper to make it look more like the Four Wheel Camper large side window. Additionally, I am going to replace the rear door glass with one of these as well. I think my camper was the final year they produced prior to introducing the small window over the sink area which really encourages a lot of light entry. I suppose if I have time I'll do that too.

It is equipped with a furnace, ice box, some variant of water holding tank, copper lines, wedge wood stove top, vents, etc.

I've decided to definitely remove the cabinets and drawers because they are made of plastic and weigh 1/3IMG_5592.jpgIMG_5456.jpgIMG_5530.jpg0th of the interior parts of my pop up. It's quite laughable actually. A full size camper weighs approximately 200lbs less than my pop up. I get that our roof's add weight, but still.

Let me know if anyone is need of something and we can try and work something out, provided I don't intend to use it on my camper. I know I will have windows remaining.

If it were me, I'd fix the roof leak and sell it whole. Someone will get a lot of enjoyment out of it and the parts aren't worth that much.

It would not be worth fixing. The time it would require would translate into an approximate $3,000 net loss for me. I was contemplating just offering it free on CL.
