OD Green or Desert Sand??

I am going to paint over my scratched up red paint with a lack luster type paint and I cant decide on what shade to go with. The black bedliner will stay, just the red is getting changed. Its either going to be od green or desert sand, so whats everyone else's opinion?

You can't beat flat OD. But desert sand would be cooler...

Green, I saw some no gloss camo paint at home depot the other day.

Tan.

Cooler (temperature wise) and doesn't show dents/dirt as much...

Additionally, OD green is a bit "military" for me...which is something I don't want to look like going up to a military checkpoint in Mexico...or wandering through drug-runner territory...

TAN TAN TAN TAN TAN!!! I'm tired of seeing OD green jeeps, we get it, jeep was in ww2, do something new. There is actually a taco on ttora that is actually painted the 6 color scheme from desert storm. Its wicked looking!

Im not going to go the all out camo route as this is a semi daily driver, I have been leaning towards tan as well. I thought the base color on this Taco was pretty cool.

I would do a camo job, something unique that you come up with yourself. Like a combination of tan and OD green. With so many vehicles used in GWOT being painted tan, it wont matter which color you use - either could be inteperted as a military vehicle.

I saw a Toy around the Bay a couple of years back. It looked like they had sprayed it green, and then done up a paint pattern of swamp grass, and then laid down tan on top of that. Unique, non-military pattern, that looked really cool.

Desert tan is all the rage these days, you know. You buy almost anything even remotely tactical in desert tan or the new "digital" camo.

Desert tan would make your truck tacti<i>cool.</i>
