thanks for the link, no wonder i couldnt find anything for venture. The prices on the site(no counting shipping) seam realy cheap afer conversion at around $700 usd new.

Any ideas on how durable these little things are?

I've seen one first hand and I don't really think they are that rugged for offroad use. They are designed for light duty on-highway use.

agreed

I talked to the guy today and the total trailer weighs under 300lbs.

While thats cool since its lighter then two aditional passengers I would hate to see it after its first tight trail

Similar trailer

I bought this trailer to carry all my gear out West each year. I stay out there for 2 months in the National Forest and needed ample storage. This trailer has a set of "ribs" for a frame and a lightweight set of leaf springs. It carries a huge load(wall tent, wood stove, kitchen gear,etc....) and I almost forget its behind my truck. I've dragged it on the numbered Forest Roads designated for vehicular traffic without any issues. BUT I'm not certain it would/could be beefed up to run serious off-road trails. Maybe if a person mounted the tub assembly over on a beefier framework. I've personally never seen the Venter trailers so mine may be totally different.
