FWIW, I could only get a link to work on the first one on your list.

Or maybe consider something like this Tiger?

REDUCED PRICE: 2012 SIBERIAN TIGER 4×4 ADVENTURE VEHICLE (USED VEHICLE)
Reduced Price – Motivated to Sell
Price: $145,000
Used Vehicle w/approximately 62,500 miles

Updated Listing with New Upgrades

or maybe this one? On a 2007 Ford F-450, with just 4,400 miles (as of 10/11/19) with the 6.8 Liter 3V Triton V-10 (4-WHEEL DRIVE with POSI-TRACTION).

Custom Wood Camper; a rolling work of art - $110000

or, more seriously along the lines of your ER search, maybe even this very nice Pangea?
The GXV factory just completed remounting this Pangea on a rare very low mileage, exceptionally fresh 2001 Ford F550 XL that was owned by Florida government entity with only 26,000+/- miles since new, with the legendary 7.3 diesel (called the million-mile motor) during the final years before def fluids, catalytic converters were required. This vehicle can burn high sulfur fuel in Mexico and South America and is ready to travel the world without disabling emission equipment.

This Ford replaced the Mitsubishi truck the camper was originally fitted on with numerous advantages including nearly 100 hp gain, easier servicing thru Ford dealers, much lower repair costs. With the roof lowered, this vehicle drives with much more stability in winds and corners than high profile vehicles. It can cruise at 75 mph and climbs mountain passes at freeway speeds. I have owned and enjoyed 4 Tigers (a Malayan and 3 Bengals}; an XP Camper, and, originally, an Alaskan. This GXV is in a league by itself in terms of ruggedness, insulation and use of marine components vs RV parts.

2012 Global Expedition Pangea LT Lifting Roof on 2001 Ford F550 - $194000 (Bellevue)

The $125K one is a bit of an outlier, but those all seem pretty close to the same price to me. And they are all in Co or AZ, so it would be easy to take a look at all four in a few days (you could probably look at 3 of them in a day). If it was me, I would check them all out and buy the one I liked the best.

I do not have and have never used an ER, so I cannot comment if one is "worth" $125K or $180K, but in general prices around $150K seem to be the low end of what these sell for.

BTW, the nice Pangea—which has a crawl thru from cab to cabin— is also posted right here on this forum at:

And the seller is a great, honest guy ?? who takes good care of his rigs. I know because I bought his last Tiger from him.

Since you asked...we were very happy owners of an ER for several years. Since ER only makes 2 per month (and until fairly recently, 1 per month) they tend to hold their value pretty well. If there were links on your original post, I couldn't get any to work, so I couldn't see the trucks you are looking at. If the build date and mileage are close, other factors in pricing may be: 1.) If any of the trucks have air ride and the Continental tires- that was an expensive upgrade at the time. 2.) Many owners, after time replace the fridge that came with the truck with the newer fridges with the stainless doors. They are quieter and have more space inside and use less power. 3.) Solar panels from 2006 are inefficient compared to new ones. I replaced mine (from 2008) with latest gen panels about a year ago. It wasn't cheap, but made a huge difference...could create electricity on overcast days. 4.) Some owners of 6.0s had their trucks bullet-proofed, worth asking to see if any of those had been done. 5.) See which trucks have been regularly seen by ER. Their annual "service" is worthwhile. There is a lot going on in trucks like these, some owners are proactive in how they maintain their trucks, some are...less so. Makes a big difference. And, if you are going to be in CO to see any of these, schedule a tour of the factory. Any question as to how a truck can cost so much will be dispelled when you see the work they do on them. Good luck!

FYI, new one on the market just today in Bend, OR. White '07 F550, #58, ~61k mileage, bulletproofed 6.0L, asking $190k. I can provide their contact info for anyone looking. Sounds like they'll be posting an ad here on ExPo soon.

Just remember you will experience "House" problems which will occur with your "House" sitting on top your "Truck" which will also at some point have problems. Be prepared for these combined yet separate & unique issues along with the cost of maintenance and repairs required to keep that "Truck" on the road hauling your "House" around with you!

my 0.02 not having owned any of these personally but with plenty of friends who do...

I like the EarthRoamer, and I don't have nearly the concerns about the 6.0 that some do (I have one in my daily driver UJOR E350). Just make sure the engine has been bulletproofed for the price you will be paying, including the ARP headstuds. I don't have the headstuds in my E-350, but I also didn't pay $150k or whatever for it. :)

Tiger has a dedicated following, but they are no longer making the Siberian. My understanding is that there were problems with all of the aluminum Tigers like that Siberian. That said, Diplostrat is far more familiar with the Tiger lineage than I am.

I liked the look of that Pangea as built by GXV (on a Fuso), but to me it just doesn't look right on that F550 - but that's just, like, my opinion, dude. :) Also, that 200" wheelbase concerns me.

My wife reminds of this every time I suggest a motorhome pulling a Gladiator.

Can you advise further on the Siberian aluminum issues?
