Option for GPS on the Canon G9 ?

The new iPhoto from Apple looks to be custom made photo management program commissioned by Scott.

GPS plays heavily into organizing pictures in iPhoto. Is there an attachment with GPS for the G9? I have seen some other cameras with a gps that plugs into the hotshoe. Ideas?

I don't believe that Canon makes an accessory GPS for the G9. I'm also not positive if there is one aftermarket the actually updates the EXIF file while on the camera.

Your easiest option may be to sync the camera clock with a GPS or data logger and then use a program to merge the data when you get back home.
