Options for ARB fog lights

I'm getting tired of looking at the holes in my ARB bumper where the fog lights are supposed to be installed. I really don't want to drop the cash for the IPF lights that ARB has designed these holes for.

So the big question is: are there any alternatives to the $300+ fog lights that these bumpers are designed for?

ETA: The ARB lights are the IPF 9381FCK, the bumper is for a 1st generation Tundra.

Are you talking about the openings for the indicator/driving lights in some of the new ARB bullbars, or the everyday holes?

There are *dozens* of driving/fog light options for the deck of an ARB bullbar. Just about anything you like, from vintage Lucas to honkin' HIDs.

For the turn indicator openings, it becomes a fab job very quickly.

I think he is talking about the fog light holes in the bumper. The ARB light set (by IPF) is quite expensive for that bumper.

The part number referenced seems to be for a normal round, pedestal mount IPF. The OP's gotta get a little more clear in what he's asking for.

Where are you finding that? The part number comes up with a specific fog light kit for ARB bumpers in a few makes Ford, mitsu, toyota, dodge.

Google Images. Won't vouch for accuracy, though, and agree completely with your thinking about the integrated driving/indicators.

Thanks Pedro. You're dead on about the "holes" I'm trying to fit. Here is a link to the lights on the TRDparts website. http://www.trdparts4u.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=-5428 I think you'll see and agree that $360 for a pair of fog lights is unimaginable.

Knowing that the diameter appears to be at or around 140mm I'm going to tinker in the morning with a pair of LightForce Lancers I have. Just thought I'd check around to make sure I wasn't reinventing the wheel. I'd hoped to use the Lancers as backup lights.

I'll post pictures of what I come up with in the AM.

you could probably fit a pair of hella 500's behind the shroud. They have a very simple mounting system that i am sure could be adapted somehow. My initial thought would be a piece of angle iron bolted to the top of the bumper using the aluminum hoop bolt. Then bolt the 500's to that upside down. with the bolt facing towards the radiator (the mount allows this).

They are 6.35" in diameter, but the fog beam is forgiving so losing a little under an inch in diameter would most likely not be the end of the world. and they are cheap ($70 for a set the last I checked)

I think I about have a solution worked out. Basically it involves a piece of iron bent at a 90* angle that will bolt through the slot you see on the right in this picture. The bolt the LF140 uses to mount with will then be bolted through a hole on the opposite side of the angle iron.

My only concern with this is the light sticks out a bit from the bumper. However, the strength of the LightForce light should stand it better down there than a Hella500 with it's glass lens. I ran out of time today so I'll try to finish tomorrow.
