Very cool, I love the sunrise at 3:18.... I did the same a few years ago from Columbia SC to Rochester NY -
2 questions:
1. What radio do you have and is that TV or just movies playing?
2. Why do you keep raising the hood? Just checking the oil?

1) Sony XAV-W1
I don't have satellite tv hooked up yet, but while driving, I limit myself to either movies I've seen million times or concert DVD's so I'm not distracted.

2) Routine belt and level checks.
