As for nip & tuck...once mine is out of warranty I'm going to Line-X the sides of her up to the where the door folds in along the sides. I'm also going to remove the front fender wells and coat the insides, line-x perhaps or otherwise to still protect the components now exposed from the elements. I'm just tired of hearing them rattle when I go off-road.

I used a thin cut-off wheel on my hand grinder. I kinda cuts/ kinda melts but it works. then I used a de-burr tool to clean the edges of the melted plastic. After I cut the inner-fender I heated it along the bottom and turned the edge (about an inch) forward to make it stiff across the bottom.

Are you coating the inners and then putting them back in or removing them and coating what is behind them?

Yea I'm removing the liners permanently and then coating whatever gets exposed behind them...

Seems my TJM bumper pic doesn't work, I'll have to replace it....

Nice setup. I have seen the Detours setup for a Cherokee. Didn't know they had them for the Liberty. (not that I own one, I have a Cherokee)

From that shot, it makes it look like some Paris-Dakar rally car. :arabia:

I like that!!! I will check them out. You didn't have that when we did the Flagstaff run last fall did you? btw, I am rejoining AZ LOST now that I don't work weekends anymore. We will start coming to some of the runs now.

No I didn't have it when we did the Flag run. I only installed it and the winch in the last couple of months. It's super easy to install, and beefy. It'd make a great base to weld a custom bumper to if needed.
