Hey Tyler... lookin good, I'm thinkin on the same lines if I can get my Jeep sold. A full size regular with a high top shell, an elevated bed platform so I can put my old ARB fridge underneath and still be able to sit up without hitting my head. What are your plans for the inside?

Best thing I have ever bought! I have made a roof rack, rear bumper/tire carrier, light bar, rock sliders, modified suspension, subframe connectors and suspension parts for my 69 Plymouth...the list goes on and on! Now I have the spoolgun working for this project. The aluminum is very tricky. Some welds are excellent, some need grinding and re-doing!

Cut down the side doors by removing the outer skin, modifying the frame and re-placing the skin:

You have some great ideas and matching skills with using a welder for multiple metals.
For your topper, have you thought of integrating the RTT into the top of the topper to make an adlib flip-pac? That way you won't have to 'exit' the sleep area to get back into your topper, nor have to reach through the vent.
I've got a commercial topper as well, though its an enclosed 1pc fiberglass unit. I'm planning out the tilt pop-top for it and will be looking into adding a fold out RTT style sleep area off that. Need the standing room inside, then the 'sleep loft' for when I need extra sleeping space or camping base shelf space.

1" Foam insulation. Kept the shell temperate in almost every condition except Vegas mid-summer.

Rear brake lights, backup lamps and red/white dome lights installed:
****I stripped off the old black, sticky sealant from ALL panels and edge mouldings and re-sealed with 3m 4000 UV made for RVs/boats. Has been fantastic!
PAINTING! PPG/Omni epoxy primer topped with silver to match the Tacoma. You can see the mounting pads for the roof rack and the RV escape hatch I installed. Works great for ventilation and access to the roof top tent.
