Overhead storage

I intend to install a couple radios in my E250 (ham, CB etc) and would like to find a storage shelf. The type that goes against the overhead and relocates the visors to the bottom of the shelf. While doing a Google search, I keep coming up with the same Shelf-it unit that has some pretty bad reviews. Lots of folks claim it doesn't fit, it's poor quality, the attached fabric comes off etc. Does anyone have a unit they have used and would recommend? Thanks in advance................Arctic Traveller

Your install looks great. I have wondered about the visor though. Did you consider making a shim to match the angle of the original overhead? That way I would hope the visors would behave normally. Anyway, nice job............Arctic Traveller

Here's mine

It wasn't hard to build, but the visors will fit funny on any flat surface. They still work, but not with the original movement.

Thanks. I did consider it, but they fit ok and I didn't bother. I never flip them down anyway. I'm a big fan of a dark tint strip across my windshields. That way my visors can concentrate on their other job: holding gobs and gobs of papers and crap I collect when I travel.
