Powertrain: We left the entire powertrain completely stock. The ECU is stock with no programer ever installed. The only modification was the addition of the ADD intercooler to make room for the winch to be installed in the front bumper. The axles, tie rods, and other vital components are all stock as well to maintain OE reliability.
We added 37” Yokohama tires on 17” Method Race Wheels. The tires are under a year old and have great tread life.
To make it super easy to get in and out of we added AMP Research retractable steps with incorporated RIGID rock lights to light up the surrounding area.
Keeping the truck looking super clean fit was top priority. We installed a Swarf Works behind the bumper winch mount and ADD Off-road intercooler with Warn Zeon 10-S Platinum winch that has a cordless remote control. The Factor 55 Ultrahook in bright orange finished off the package installed by Baja HQ in SoCal.
We incorporated powerful driving lights using the Rigid D-SS PRO with 120-degrees of horizontal lighting coverage. We also used RIGIDs A-Pillar Mounting Brackets specifically made for the Raptor. We wired them using Wire Care components to trigger relay by the steering column high beam switch for quick turn on and off.
The front suspension has been upgraded with Camburg CNC machined upper control arms with FK uniballs and adjustable heim joints. Fox Factory Series 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks with Dual Speed Compression adjuster lifted the front end up a bit to level the truck out and allow for the 37” tires. The suspension was installed by Camburg.
Rear suspension has been upgraded with Fox Factory Series 3.0 Bypass shocks with ECS cooling system. Plus 500 lbs rear leaf springs custom made by Deaver Spring keep the truck level with a full bed full of exploration gear.
The Rear bed is dialed in with a Front Runner rack attached to Retrax PRO XR rolling bed cover. The rack can easily be removed as well leaving the rolling lock cover. The setup is super versatile with t-slot tracks all over the place which made mounting the RIGID SR-M Midnight Amber Diffused lights and wiring super clean. We also mounted Front Runner’s camp table, Max Trax, and chromoly shovel underneath the rack. On top the Front Runner bike mount is super solid and their available mounts for the Tepui Tent made for a super quick install. We have two bike mounts, three Tupui tent covers (mesh, standard, and cold weather), along with the matching Tepui annex and boot bags.
Inside the bed is a heavy duty Bed Slide system to easily pull your gear out. On the inside side of the bed we installed Built Right Ind cargo racks with a 4 gallon water system using Rotopax.
Off the back he Wilco Off-road Hitchgate Max installs easily, sliding into the factory hitch and stays secure with its ratchet tight wedge lock system. It has a burly 350lbs load rating and easily holds the 37” perfectly.
Inside the cab we added a Dometic CFX 65 W fridge and it fits perfectly on the floor with the small seat section flipped up. Custom Mac’s Straps hold it down and the installed plug under the passenger seat keeps the wiring clean. The Dometic app allows us to adjust all the settings while keeping an eye on the temp. It's plugged-in all the time knowing the built-in voltage sensors of the CFX keeps the truck battery from draining too far down. The colors match the interior perfectly and fits like a glove. Keep it in the truck all the time for grocery runs and stocked for random highway pull-offs with epic views.
Inside the center console we added an Icom F5021 Chase Package with We also used the Bullet Proof Antenna Mount that bolts on flush up on the third brake lamp.
