Looks like a really nice place! Sorry for your loss and I love the axelproject you have started. I coach a similar program with young kids, mine included. Cycling is amazing and it is fun introducing it to others. Keep up the good work and the positive energy!!!! Cheers

You have found a cool place,have fun.
The wind can howl on Cape Blanco,I have been there at a reported 100 MPH.

From the Eugene newspaper,"And this is a breeze compared to winter-storm winds of 70-100 miles per hour commonly recorded at the cape — and baby's breath against the 1962 Columbus Day Storm's peak gusts, which could only be estimated at 179 mph because measuring equipment blew apart at about 150 mph."
