Despite the old school 1980s Ace helmet and Schlegel paddle, this photo of me is from the spring of 2002! This is the entrance of "The Basin" on the upper reaches of the Pemigewasset River in New Hampshire and is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of my favorite New England creeks.

That's a river I need to paddle. Was that a multi-day trip? How many days? What is the camping like? Distance? Miles covered per day?

Doing the North Platte this weekend from Six Mile Gap to Treasure Island.

Nothing wrong with a Schlegel Graham, it's still my favorite creek paddle. It may be heavy but it takes a big time beating and keeps going.
