Pelican 65qt or 95qt

Having a tough time deciding between these two. The price difference is a non-issue.

Cooler will support 4 people for trips from 3-5 days - and we usually pack way more food/beer than we need. Maybe not beer, you can never have enough beer.

Cooler will eventually go in my M101A2 so the space is also a relative non-issue. Is the 95 really THAT huge making it unwieldy?

Just looking for some opinions. Thanks folks.

Our 50 is hard for 1 person to sling around - not due to weight, but trying to lift it, holding the handles about 3' apart.

I will tell you that my 65 with beer and ice is a two man lift so the 95 loaded would be a beast. Have you thought about going with the 65 and a regular cooler for your drinks; the reason I say that is if you wanted to take the cooler at some point and not your M101 that 95 would take up most of the space in the back of your 4Runner.


Oh yea, if you wait long enough I'm sure somebody will be by to tell you why you need to get a fridge instead of a cooler. :sombrero:

That's a very good idea. I think going with the 65 and a separate cooler for drinks might be a winner. I wish I had the $$ for a fridge.

I hear ya, would love to have one just cant justify the cost right now.
