Pelican Cases - FYI

For Everyone's Info, Wal-Mart dot com has Pelican products for a good price. They will ship free to your local store or your house for a fee.

I bought a medium case with foam for my SLR camera gear and love it. Prices are good too. They carry all sizes from micro to the foot lockers for large items. They even carry pelican products like flashlights, portable lighting, and head lamps. Online has sales too, to keep an eye out, if I see another one, I will pass it on.

Just an FYI, and no I don't work for WM, just passing on a deal I found for the others of us who are frugal (or like me, cheap).

Buyers should note that Walmart.com is now selling its site services to 3rd parties, and will not honor returns from those 3rd party sites. When you select an item, you will see that the item is either from walmart.com, or from elsewhere. Prices I have seen thus far on "elsewhere" sites are higher than other intenet sites. Just a heads up.

I have to say it's unfortunate.

I'd also be surprized it Pelican is working directly with Walmart.

The first red flag
"Please note: This item cannot be returned to Walmart.com or Walmart stores."

Second red flag, here is an example item.
Pelican 0450 mobile tool chest.
Pelican puts msrp of this item around $450.
Adorama.com has it for $449
Walmart.com has it for $727.

I wonder just how many hands are in the cookie jar by the time it gets onto Walmart.com!?

bummer, I bought my medium case for only 80 bucks, so this has changed. I also had to return the first one when it was too small, so this has changed. Sorry.

I would rather pay more to not buy from Wal-mart.
