Phoenix Toyota Dealers

I need to find a dealer in the Phoenix area that people trust. This would be for basic service, just an oil change. Quality of service trumps location, although east or north would be best (near Scottsdale, Mesa, etc).

Dave, it's a few miles away, but Tim's Toyota in Prescott does our service work. They have a very good local reputation.

Dave, Right Toyota in Scottsdale I am good with for service. Don't know if I'd buy a vehicle there, but the service guys have always treated me with respect and have even fixed things on my LCs for free where they could have charged me outrageously.

I use Superstion Springs Toyota in Mesa.... never had an issue, and they give you out rent-a-prius if you break something that will take them a while to fix. Big Two Toyota isn't too bad either.

Thanks, gents. Just trying to get a short list of dealerships (and maybe even a particular service writer name) that when my wife stops in for an oil change they aren't going to see the Colorado plates and dollars signs spring up in the eyes.

Dave, I'm sure one of us would also have no problems changing the oil for you if need be?

That's a very cool offer. It's just the regular periodic oil change, so she can handle it if I can give her a dealer to hit. I'm fairly sure she's met you at a Rising Sun run, but to even ask any of you guys to do something like that seems really above and beyond. That is unless you are third party volunteering Wil to do it?

I'm always volunteering Wil! Still, if you have any probs, you know my proximity so all you need to do is call. :)

FWIW, I would not recommend Camelback Toyota for your wife, based on a recent experience there. While other's mileage might vary, I found the service rep to be incompetent at best and dishonest at worst, and suspect that the fact that I'm a woman helped doom our interaction from the start.

Glad to see you have plenty of other options!

That's good to know, that's the sort of thing that will turn me off of a shop.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case. Not that I would expect ExPo people to do it, I does not surprise me that it would be a serious offer. As it would be from my end.

BTW, she went to Right (spelling?) Toyota and said it was a painless experience. They even washed the car, which was covered in bugs from a couple of road trips.
