Though originally I thought I would run it stock for awhile, I've now received too much owner feedback and seen too many Youtube rocker panel mishap videos to stay that course. Consequently, I plan on two stages of modifications.
Stage #1: New rubber (likely Bridgestone A/T Revos), replace stock tubular side rails with proper rock rails (leaning Schrockworks, but open to other ideas), replace stock skid pans with heavier duty skid plates (leaning either Budbuilt or Jaos, but also open to other ideas).
Stage #2: Update suspension (leaning Old Man Emu medium kit for ~2.5" lift)
Done. I'm not a rock crawler, but rather an off-pavement traveler. Anything more than the above, and I would feel as if I probably ought to have started with a different, more offroad-oriented platform.
