Pitch Circle Diameter

trivial question time ....

can someone tell me the pitch circle diameter (the diameter of the circle which passes through the centre of all the studs, wheel bolts or wheel rim holes) for the 5 stud FG wheel.

I can measure it and arrive at "about 208 mm" but I suspect I'm a fraction out and can't find the nearest "standard" size.

5 on 205 is a std., both Saab and VW used it. Could you be off by 3mm?

Or, 5 on 10.5" is an old Ford pattern, but that comes out 267mm. It is what the "Wide Five" circle track rims and wheel hubs are based off of.

They could be their own pattern, I'm not saying that they aren't - just that they *could* be something pre-existing.

"They" Say.... 5 out of 4 people do have trouble with fractions!

well there you go, the dealer knew all the time. 5 x 208 mm it is. I'll have more faith in my measurements next time.

Now to figure out why the holes in my laser cut steel (to hang spares on rear) leave the studs at a slight angle - grrrrrr!
