Play along with my class...

I have a class that I'm teaching this term that is all digital. I have set up a blog that is communication from me to my students. I am including assignments, and additional lecture material. I meet with them 3 times per week, and this blog is a good way for us to keep track of what's going on. Each student has their own blog that they are putting their assignments on and other images they find from the internet. I was thinking that several of you might find the curriculum interesting, and might even want to play along.

Unfortunately you won't be able to see their work, but you can at least get an idea of what I'm teaching them and how it can work for your own photography.

As a completely untaught photo nut, you classes tell me a lot about what I don't know! Thank you.

In one of your early posts you had a link to a photographer who is trying to draw attention to one of the great, unknown tragedies of the world; the conflct in the Democratic Republic if the Congo. Struck very close to home. Everyone is concerned about Darfur, but ignores the greater problems.

Photography is very powerful in advocacy or propaganda.
