Hello all, I have invented a portable heated blanket, I just would like to get you're thoughts.
Portable Heated Blanket
Invented for all outdoor pursuits, fishing, birdwatching, stargazing, camping, hunting etc, and also a lifesaver in emergency situations.
Up to 60 degrees Celsius of portable heat, just unroll the blanket, light your gas stove and place the unique heat exchanger unit on your stove, within 10 minutes your blanket will be up to temperature, heating your whole body even in the harshest conditions.
Formerly known as 'The Hot One', our portable heated blanket has been totally re-designed incorporating a TEG (thermo-electric-generator) which eliminates the need for a battery power source. The generator is so efficient it not only powers the unique circulation pump incorporated within our blanket it will also charge smart phones, GPS units, iPods and many other lithium ion battery operated devices, all via a USB connection. Alternatively, the TEG provides a power source to run speakers, lights, fans, or other low-power USB appliances making our product a truly life saving essential item in emergency situations. The solid-state voltage regulator provides up to 5W of pure power to charge your high-tech devices.
Generator Output: 5W maximum, 1 Amp max at 5 V (DC) USB 2.0 port
How long will my blanket stay hot?
As long as you have a direct heat source under the heat exchanger, i.e your gas stove, the blanket will stay hot. Portable gas stove cylinders can last over 30 hours with our product due to the small amount of heat input required, that equates to approximately £0.16 pence per hour running costs.
