Good idea or bad idea to consider a freezer/cooler truck box as the basis for a camper build? Size is 8'x16'. Not sure on the weight but given a freezer/cooler box I would bet heavier than a "normal" box. $2,500 US seems reasonable if the FG140 long wheelbase model can handle the weight. Ideally a composite box that is lighter would be better, but? I wasn't going to go a full camper build, but if the freezer boxes make a good base for a camper build because of how they are insulated I may change my mind or if too heavy to start with I may ditch the idea.
