Power pack questions

I had a question about power packs. I am not ready to go the dual battery route just yet and I wanted to know everyone's opinion about jump packs or power packs as some call them. If I got a 600w model would it be enough to power a laptop to watch a movie (kiddo's) and also have enough in reserve to jump a battery? Has anybody used these over a few days to power accesories without recharging?

Thanks

I have an 800w one and it is fine for powering a laptop for a few hours and still has enough juce left to jump the truck. There is a lot of loss when using an inverter so if you can run off of 12 volts you should have no problems. These packs have vary low Amp hours and it is not recommended to discharge them too far, so I charge mine every chance I get (Solar or off the truck)if it's not a 100% charged. Hope this helps
