ppf (paint protection film) on tern-style acrylic windows

has anyone done this? i am thinking about using xpel ultimate plus as it seems like the easiest to get medium size quantities of. wondering if the adhesive is compatible with acrylic windows and if it creates a permanent bond or is removeable if needed. i know xpel make a more window or windshield specific film, but these are side mounted acrylic windows, so i am looking for the self-healing film to help with pinstripes more than i am looking for impact resistance or UV blocking. also i don't believe the windshield film is available to diyers.

XPEL PLUS was on the headlights of 3 of my trucks so I figured it would be OK to put on acrylic windows. If I hadn't put it on the windows 2 years ago I woudn't be able to see out the windows now.
